On this page I will collect the list of the projects I have worked on since I started programming. For some of them I still have the sourcecode somewhere in my PC (maybe one day Iwill decide to organize them). It is also indicated in brackets the year and the course for which the project has been developed.
- RSS Feed Client-Server Java Application with comments (2006 – Software Engineering): a Java client-server application that allows clients to read RSS Feed published by server and to share their comments.
- Motor Show Web Application (2007 – Web Design and Multimedia Applications): a web application for a motor show, developed using MVC paradigm, JSP pages, Hibernate platform and Struts framework. It was also created a mockup for the mobile version of the application;
- Virtual Tag Filesystem for Linux (2008 – Bs Thesis): a virtual filesystem that can replace the classic hierarchic structure of files with tags, based on FUSE library. It was developed in Java language, using Hibernate platform;
- MediasStore (2008 – HumanComputer Interface): a mobile application to shop in a music store with the integrated camera and OCR of bar-codes, developed with JavaME;
- BTW – if you go, my advice to you (2008 – Software Engineering 2): a web application that allows registered users to publish and read georeferenced comments about a city. It is possible to signal dangerous situations o to give advices about any point in a map. It integrates the route planning between two points through public transportations function, showing all comments on crossed streets. It was developed by three teams, using the Eiffel’s design by contract approach and it is based on OpenStreetMap maps;
- MI to MI (2009 – Laboratory of Operating Systems and Software Design): a PHP web application to plan a trip in the city of Milan, parsing HTML results from trains and public transportation websites and merging them;
- Facebook risks (2009 – Information Technology Ethics and Deontology): a risks analysis about Social Networks (in particular Facebook) use; Download (in Italian)
- The Story of Stoneville (2009 – TU Delft – Multimodal Communication and Automatic Speech recognition): An interactive story to help children to recognize emotions.
